Violet

✦ ✦ ✦

Hi, I'm Violet.

The fairy who feels the butterflies — and does it anyway ✨

I push boundaries. I give anything a crack.
I probably could do some thinking first.
But when the butterflies flap in my tummy —
I take a deep breath and see it through.

Brave doesn't mean not scared. It means doing it anyway. ✦

Violet

"When the butterflies flap — I see it through."

Something special: Violet is brave to a fault — she gives anything a crack and probably could do some thinking first. She is absolutely excellent.
💙 Favourite colour: Sky blue
🎂 Birthday: 30 March
👗 Always wears: Blue ruffle dress, golden-amber wings
🦋 Her truth: Brave-despite, not fearless
💫 Emotional lane: Courage despite the butterflies

Violet is brave and bold and a little foolhardy — and completely wonderful. She pushes boundaries, tries things before she's thought them through, and gives every adventure a crack. But even Violet feels the butterflies. Even she has the wobble before the leap. She just takes a deep breath and sees it through anyway. She is not fearless — she is brave-despite. That's the difference. And it's the whole point.

"When the butterflies flap in my tummy too,
I take a deep breath —
then I see it through."

A note for grown-ups

For the child who is nervous and does it anyway

Violet was built for the child who feels scared and charges in regardless — not because the fear went away, but because the doing matters more than the feeling.

She holds something important: fearlessness is not the goal. Bravery despite the fear is. The butterflies are allowed. The wobble before the leap is part of the thing, not a sign that it's wrong.

For the child who stands at the edge and takes the breath before the jump — Violet is right there beside them. She took the breath too. See? Your light was there all along.

She took the breath. She saw it through. And her light was there all along. ✦
